About me...

My name is Sónia Gomes and I was born in Portugal.
I am a Marketing & Branding communication consultant, Yoga teacher  and I decided to start studying Buddhism since 2007.
I enjoy beauty and creativity in every thing that life has to offer... Travelling, studying and doing research about female in Buddhism are my main goals. My vision and aim is to help and contribute for gender equality , female empowerment  and also go ahead with some humanitarian projects to help Women and children in South Asia.

At the present moment, beside managing my small yoga retreat centre in Portugal, I also do part of some Indian and Nepalese international Associations and Foundations to help to promote gender equity , health and sanitation and the importance of Buddhist Values in education.
